Sam the Dog Update
Sam's doing really well now. He has not had any major set backs over the past 2 weeks which is great news. His sugar levels are still high and we inject him with insulin twice a day. He also has to have several different drops in his eyes everyday. He's coping very well. Some of you have asked for a photo so you can see him! Here he is:

Thanks for your comments. Sam is much happier now and he is quickly getting back to his normal self. Tonight, my wife and I are taking him back to the vet - we are going to be trained to take a sample of blood everyday to check his sugar levels. Sam won't mind - he is such a placid dog. Ged, I agree - Sam is much more handsome than I am!
